Asst Project Engg

I'm working as an Asst Project Engg over in the Vpo Kheri Gurna area. This is part of the Rajpura tehsil, nestled within the Patiala district. My days are usually spent on-site, looking at plans and making sure things are moving along like they’re supposed to. It’s dusty work most of the time, and I’m often wearing boots that have seen better days. Rajpura has a lot of activity going on, and being part of the engineering side means I see the practical bits of how things get built. I don't sit in a fancy chair all day. Most of the time, I’m out in the field or in a small temporary office near the site. The people around Kheri Gurna are straightforward, and I like that. We deal with real problems like supply delays or bad weather holding up the foundation work. It's not like what you see in movies; it’s mostly just making sure the measurements are right and the materials show up on time. Patiala is a good place to be, even with the long hours. When the day is over, I head back and try to get some rest before the sun comes up again. Engineering isn't about glory here; it's about making sure the structure stands up and the job gets finished. It’s hard work, but it feels good to see something actually get built from the ground up by local people.
