Sri Kamalam Traders

Sri Kamalam Traders is located in the Panjab Oil Mill Gali, specifically in Vivek Bhawan. We are over in the Bhainstan area. It’s an old part of town with narrow lanes and a lot of history. Finding us can be a bit tricky the first time because the Gali is tucked away, but everyone around here knows where Vivek Bhawan is. We are traders, so we deal with all sorts of goods depending on the season and what people are looking for. Our space is filled with sacks and boxes and the smell of whatever we are moving that week. It’s a very traditional way of doing business. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just talk to people face-to-face. The office is just a simple room with a couple of chairs and a ledger. We’ve been in Bhainstan for a long time, and our family has been doing this for years. It gets very crowded in the Gali when the delivery carts come through, and you have to be careful where you walk. But we like the energy of the market. It’s an honest living and we know our customers by name. We just open up the shutters every morning and see what the day brings. It’s not fancy, but it is home to us and our business. We just keep on trading like we always have.
