Down here in Beant Nagar, Moga, life moves at its own pace. My name is Parminder Singh and I’ve been running this business out of 20/262 for quite some time. It’s not a massive operation, just a local spot where I can manage my work and stay close to my roots. Moga is a place where everyone knows everyone, so you can’t really hide if you do a bad job. That’s why I try to keep things as honest as possible. My office is just a room with a table, some chairs, and a lot of notebooks. I’m not big on computers for everything; I still like writing things down. The neighbors see me coming and going every day. It’s a simple life, really. I don’t have a big crew working for me. It’s mostly just me and occasionally a helper if things get really busy. We don’t put up big signs or run ads in the paper. Most people find out about me through word of mouth. If you do a decent job for one person, they tell their cousin, and that’s how I’ve stayed in business. I don’t want to be a giant company. I just want to keep working here in Beant Nagar and take care of my family. It’s practical, it’s local, and it works for me. We don't need fancy things to get the job done right.
