We've been out here on Zira Road in Village Khosa Pando for a while now. It’s mostly just us handling the spices every day. It gets pretty busy when the trucks come in, but we manage. My family started this because we knew the area well and it just made sense. Sometimes the dust from the grinding is everywhere, but that’s just part of the job. We don’t have a fancy office or anything like that. It’s just a plain building where we get the work done. Most of the people working here are from around the village, so we all know each other. It makes the day go by a bit faster when you can talk to your neighbors while working. We handle a lot of different seeds and powders throughout the week. The smell is really strong, and you can usually tell what we’re packing from way down the road. We try to keep things organized, though it gets a bit messy during the peak harvest times. It’s not a complicated setup. We just take the raw stuff, process it, and get it sent out to wherever it needs to go. We’ve seen the road change quite a bit over the years, with more traffic now than there used to be. Still, we are here doing the same thing. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy.
