Goel Weaving Factory

Goel Weaving Factory is right in the heart of Bhagwan Ganj Mandi. If you know the Mandi area, you know it’s always packed with trucks and people carrying loads. It’s a dusty place but full of life. We’ve been operating our weaving machines here because the location is practical for getting materials in and out. The sound of the looms is constant from morning until we shut down for the night. We don’t have any fancy office staff or anything. It’s just us and the workers making sure the cloth comes out right. People come by to check on their orders and we usually sit on plastic chairs to discuss things over some tea. It gets quite hot in the summer months, especially with the machinery running, but we have big fans to keep the air moving. Dealing with the Mandi traffic is the hardest part of the day sometimes. You have to be patient when the big lorries are blocking the road. We don't spend money on big signs or anything. People who need weaving done know where to find us. It’s a simple setup, really. We focus on the work on the looms and don't worry about much else. The floors are usually covered in a bit of lint and thread, but that’s just a sign that we’re keeping busy and making things. It is hard work but it is what we know. We just stay focused on the daily tasks.
