Pawan Stone Industries

Pawan Stone Industries is located in Village Chechak, right on the Morak Chechak Road. We are very close to the Hanuman Mandir in the Badodiya Kalan area. Ramganj Mandi is the main hub for this kind of work and we have been here for years. Our life basically revolves around the stone quarries and the processing shed. It is a rural setting, so things move a bit slower than in the big cities. We have a lot of machines for cutting and polishing the stone slabs. The yard is usually white with stone dust by the end of the day. You can hear the sounds of the temple bells nearby in the mornings when we start. It is a family-style environment here. Most of the people working in the shed live right in the village. We aren't a high-tech firm. We use our hands and basic machines to get the stone ready. Every day we see trucks coming in empty and leaving full of stone for some project far away. We spend a lot of time checking the slabs for cracks or uneven parts. It is hard on the hands and the back after a full day. We don't have a fancy marketing team. We just rely on the stone that comes out of the ground. It is a steady rhythm for us. We wake up, go to the shed, and start the saws. That is the life at the stone works.
