Royal Public School

Royal Public School is located on Ramai Patti Road in Mirzapur. It’s a straightforward kind of place, nothing too complicated about how we run things. We have a gate that opens onto the road, and you’ll see the kids lined up there every morning before the first bell goes off. The building itself has seen a lot of use over the years, with some patches on the walls and floors that show where we’ve done repairs. Inside, the rooms are filled with heavy wooden benches that have been there since we started. We don't have a big fancy office, just a desk where the paperwork gets handled and where parents come to check on things. Mirzapur can get quite dusty, so we spend a lot of time sweeping the floors and keeping the windows shut when the wind picks up. The teachers here are mostly locals who have been with us for a long time. They know which kids are quiet and which ones need a bit more looking after. We have a small playground, though it’s more of an open space for stretching and running during the lunch break. Most of the kids bring their own water bottles and tiffin boxes from home. It isn't a quiet place once the lessons start, but that is expected with so many students in one spot. We just keep our heads down and make sure the students are learning what they need to move on to the next grade.
