Meshad Carpets

Meshad Carpets is based out in Village-Bhiskuri. If you are looking for us, we are right near the Post Office in Barkacha. It is a small place, and most of the people around here know us by now. We spend our days working on the looms. It is quiet work for the most part, just the sound of the threads moving. We have been in this village for years, and we do not see any reason to move to a big city. The light is good here in the afternoons, which helps with the picking and the knots. We are not a giant factory with machines doing everything. Most of the work is done by hand, sitting on the floor or the benches. Sometimes the dust gets a bit much, but we keep the windows open to let the air in. We do not have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is just the people from the village coming in to work. When a carpet is finished, we pack it up and send it off through the post office or a truck. It takes a lot of time, but that is just how we do things at Meshad Carpets. We do not like to rush because mistakes are hard to fix once the wool is already in. It is just us, the yarn, and the village life every day. It is as simple as that.
