Green Vihar Farmers Producer Company Limited

Green Vihar Farmers Producer Company Limited is based in a small village called Parsiyan Khurd. Our post office is Semari, and we fall under the Dawath block. This is a company made for and by farmers. We aren't some big city firm trying to tell people what to do. Most of us are from around Parsiyan Khurd itself. We spent a lot of time in the fields before we decided to set up this producer company. The idea was just to have a common place in the Dawath block where we could handle our business together. The office is very basic, just a place to sit and talk about the crops and the prices. Since we are in a rural area, we don't have fancy amenities. We have our village, our fields, and the Semari post office for our mail. It’s a community effort more than anything else. We don't have a mission statement written on the wall; we just want to get a fair deal for what we grow. Being a producer company means we are all in it together. Sometimes the meetings at Parsiyan Khurd get a bit loud when everyone has an opinion, but that is how it goes. We are just regular farmers trying to make things work in this part of the block. No bells or whistles, just hard work and the local land.
