A.R. Tredersh

A.R. Tredersh is located right in the middle of the noise at Mukheri Bazaar. Being so close to the Sabji Mandi means the mornings are very loud and there are people everywhere from five in the morning. We spend a lot of our time just managing the space we have because the market gets so crowded. The floors are a bit worn down from years of people walking in and out. Most of the guys here have worked in this market for years, so we know all the local vendors by name. Dealing with trading goods means there are always bags and boxes piled up in the corners. We don't have a big fancy sign or a modern lobby, just a desk and some chairs where we sit to talk to people. Sometimes the smell of the fresh vegetables from next door is very strong, which is better than the smell of truck exhaust I suppose. We keep a small radio playing in the background most of the time to drown out the shouting from the street. It is a busy life here, but it feels good to be part of the bazaar community. We handle our daily tasks as they come and don't try to overthink things too much. Lunch is usually something brought from home in a tiffin or bought from a stall nearby. It’s a practical way to run a business in a place like this where everything is constantly moving and changing.
