You can find Hawaldar Traders at Shop No-1 in Sawalwadi Village. We are located in the Miraj Taluka part of Sangli District, and we’re right near Jhari Bagh Hall. If you know that hall, you can’t miss our shop. It’s a simple setup we’ve got here. We aren’t some massive corporation with a glass building. It’s just a local shop where we keep our goods and talk to our neighbors. Most of the people who come in are from around the village or the surrounding areas in Miraj. We know a lot of our customers by name, which makes the day go by a bit faster. Sometimes the shop gets a bit crowded on market days, and we have to scramble to keep up. We handle things as they come. There’s no big strategy or five-year plan; we just try to have what people need when they need it. The area is fairly quiet compared to the big cities, except when there’s an event at the hall. We enjoy the local atmosphere. Sometimes we’re out back moving stock, so you might have to shout a bit to get our attention. It’s an honest way to make a living. We don’t spend money on fancy signs or radio ads. We just open the doors in the morning and see who stops by. It’s been working for us for quite a while now. We keep our hours steady and try not to let the paperwork pile up too high on the desk.
