Shri Raj Laxmi Marbles

You can find us over at Shri Raj Laxmi Marbles in Sector 8 of Mira Road. We’ve been at this location for a good while, and most of the people living in the nearby apartment blocks know where we are. It’s a pretty straightforward setup here. We have a lot of different marble slabs and tiles packed into the space. Mira Road is always noisy with traffic and people going about their business, and we are right in the middle of it. Most of our day is spent showing people the different patterns in the stone. No two slabs are exactly alike, which is the interesting part of this trade. Sometimes we have a huge variety and other times we are just waiting for the next truck to arrive. It’s just a few of us here doing the heavy lifting and making sure the stone doesn't get chipped. We don't have a corporate office or anything polished like that. It’s a working shop with stone dust on the floors and a desk in the corner for paperwork. It can be a bit tiring standing all day and moving these heavy pieces, but it’s what we do. We know the regulars in Sector 8 and we try to be helpful when someone comes in looking for something specific. We don't use any fancy sales talk. We just show what we have in stock and let the stone speak for itself.
