Sree Durga Computer & Network

Our shop, Sree Durga Computer & Network, is right in Nakurbazar which is part of the Ghatal area in Paschim Medinipur. It’s a typical local business where we handle a bit of everything related to computers and the internet. If someone's office network goes down or a home router stops working, they usually give us a call or walk into the shop here in Nakurbazar. We have rolls of yellow and grey internet cables stacked in the corner because we are always out setting up connections for people. The dust in Medinipur can be a problem for machines, so we spend a lot of time cleaning out fans and heat sinks. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. The local market is usually quite noisy, especially on bazaar days, but we’ve grown used to the sounds of the street outside. We aren't a big corporation with uniforms; we just wear what’s comfortable and get to work on the benches. Sometimes we have to travel a bit to reach people’s homes in the outlying parts of Ghatal, which takes time on the local roads. We just keep things moving as best we can. Most people know us by name because we’ve lived and worked in this district for a long time. We just focus on the hardware in front of us and try to make sure everything is plugged in correctly before the customer leaves. It is a simple life here in the market, just keeping the tech running.
