Panda Computer

We are set up in Jameson Hall right on Judges Court Road. It’s a well-known spot, so most people don't have much trouble finding us once they get to the main road and see the building. The building itself has a bit of history to it, which makes working here feel a little different than being in a modern glass office. At Panda Computer, we see a lot of students and people who work at the courts nearby. Their laptops usually have some kind of problem, like a spilled drink or a keyboard that won't type certain letters anymore. The space inside is mostly filled with half-taken-apart computers and boxes of power cables on the floor. We try to keep things organized, but on busy Tuesdays, it can look a bit messy until we clean up. I’ve been doing this for a while now, and I’ve seen all sorts of weird computer issues over the years. Some days are slow and we just clean the dust out of the fans, but other days everyone seems to have a crisis at the same time. We don't have a big front desk or anything fancy like that. You just walk in and talk to whoever isn't holding a screwdriver at that moment. The windows are large but the view is just the busy street and people rushing to their court dates. Sometimes people leave their laptops for weeks because they forget, so the shelves are always full of old gear.
