Bijoy Maity

We are located in the village of Dharimol, which is under the Dharenda post office. It’s way out in the Midnapore West district of West Bengal. Life here is much slower than in the big cities. Our place is basically run by the family, with Mr. Biplab Maity helping out. The pin code is 721304. It’s a rural area, so we are surrounded by fields and a lot of greenery. We don't have a big office or anything, just our home and the space we use for work. Most of the people around here are neighbors we’ve known our whole lives. We handle whatever comes our way, mostly simple things that need doing in the village. The roads aren't great, especially when it rains during the monsoon season and everything turns to mud. We spend a lot of our time outdoors or in the small room we’ve set aside for business. It’s not a polished operation, just us doing what we can with the resources we have. Sometimes we have to travel to the main town for supplies, which takes a while on the bus. We don't have any staff besides the family. It’s just a quiet life here in Dharimol. We’ve been in this village for generations and don’t plan on going anywhere else. It’s a simple, honest way to live and work.
