Sri Jayalakshmi Earth Movers

Sri Jayalakshmi Earth Movers operates out of the Kaveri Nagar area in Periyar Nagar, right near Metturdam-1. Dealing with earth movers means there is always a lot of dirt and heavy machinery around our yard. It’s not a quiet job, and the neighbors probably know when we’re starting up for the day. We’ve been in Metturdam for a while now, and we know the terrain around here pretty well. The yard can get a bit messy, especially when it rains, but that’s part of the business. We keep our equipment maintained and ready to go whenever a call comes in. It’s a lot of physical work and long hours, especially during the busy season. We don't have a fancy reception area or anything like that; usually, you’ll find us out by the machines or in the small shed we use for an office. People in the area know us mostly through word of mouth. We don't see the point in big advertisements when our work speaks for itself. It’s just us, some heavy machinery, and a lot of hard work every day. Kaveri Nagar is a good spot for us because it’s easy for the trucks to get in and out. We take things one day at a time and try to do a decent job for whoever asks. That’s how we’ve always done it. We’ve had some good years and some tough ones, but the machines keep moving and so do we. The dust doesn't really bother us anymore, it's just part of the everyday routine at the yard.
