Our place is out at Brahmanwada, right along the Siddhpur-Unjha Highway. Being on the highway means we see a lot of different people passing through. It’s a dusty spot because of all the trucks and cars kicking up dirt as they drive by. We don't have a fancy office or a big sign. It’s a simple setup where we handle our business, which is mostly connected to the local agriculture and trade in this area. The sun can be really brutal out here, so we spend a lot of time in the shade when we aren't busy. You can hear the roar of engines all day long, which you get used to after a week or two. We talk to the farmers from the surrounding villages and the drivers who stop for a break. Life moves at a different pace here compared to the city. We have a few chairs outside where we sit and discuss the day’s work over some tea. It’s a very practical kind of life, focused on what needs to be done right now. We don't worry much about how things look, as long as the work gets finished. The breeze coming off the fields is nice in the evening, once the traffic dies down a little bit.
