Sapna Marble

Sapna Marble is located on Radhanpur Road, specifically on Jivraj Mehta Marg. We are in the Bahubali area, quite near to the Arogyadham. If you know that part of town, you know it’s a bit of a hub for materials like ours. Dealing with marble means the place is always a bit white with stone dust, no matter how much we clean. It’s heavy work, so we are usually outside or in the shed moving slabs around. The sun can be really brutal on Radhanpur Road, so we try to do the heaviest lifting in the early hours. Our office is just a small room off to the side with a couple of chairs and a fan that squeaks a little. We don't have a big showroom or anything like that. Most people come here because they know we’ve been here for a while. We drink a lot of water and tea to stay going through the afternoon. It’s a noisy job with the cutting and moving of stone, but we are used to it by now. The neighbors at Arogyadham are quiet, so we try not to be too loud early in the morning. Jivraj Mehta Marg is a busy street, so there’s always something to look at. It’s an honest way to make a living and we take it one day at a time. The stone has its own beauty, even if the work is dirty.
