Lotus Export

Our place for Lotus Export is out on Plot No. 115 in the G. I. D. C. area of Gozaria. It is an industrial zone, so there are always trucks moving around and people loading things. Our building is a simple structure with a large shutter at the front. We have a small office space partitioned off where we do the computer work. The rest of the space is for keeping the goods ready for transport. It’s quite dusty out here, especially when the wind picks up across the open plots. We don't have much in the way of decoration. It is a practical space designed for work. Most of our day is spent checking the inventory and making sure the labels are correct. The water here isn't the best, so we always bring our own bottles from home. There is a small canteen down the road where we go for lunch. It’s nothing special, but the food is hot. We see the same drivers every week when they come to pick up the loads. Sometimes we stay late when a big shipment needs to go out the next morning. It’s hard work, but we are used to it. The area is mostly quiet at night once all the other units shut down. We just keep our heads down and focus on getting the orders out on time. The fluorescent lights hum a bit too loudly in the evening, but you stop noticing it after a while.
