Gujarat Tradfair Organization

We’ve been operating from the Municipal Ground in Mehsana for a good while now. It’s right near the Sarvjanic School, so there’s always a lot of activity and kids around. Our work involves trade fairs. That basically means we deal with a lot of tents, poles, and people wanting space to show their goods. It’s a bit of a puzzle every time. We have to map out where everyone goes so the aisles don't get too cramped. Mehsana 384001 is where we belong. We spend most of our time outdoors on the ground. You get used to the dust and the heat after a while. It’s not a desk job. My boots are usually pretty worn out by the end of the season. We don't have a big corporate philosophy. We just want the stalls to be sturdy and the gates to open on time. Sometimes a vendor arrives late and we have to scramble to get them settled. It’s just part of the day. We know the local guys who help with the labor and the municipal office folks. It’s a community effort to get these fairs running. We aren't trying to be fancy. We just provide the space and the structure so people can do their business. It’s straightforward work and it keeps us busy throughout the year. We like seeing the grounds filled with people when everything finally opens up.
