S.S. Gupta

The office for S.S. Gupta is located at Asora House on WK Road in Meerut. It’s one of those older buildings that has its own character, though the stairs can be a bit steep if you aren't used to them. Being on WK Road means we are right in the thick of things. There’s always the sound of horns and people shouting outside, which is just part of the atmosphere in this city. Inside Asora House, it’s a bit more stable. We have a few rooms where we keep our desks and all the records we’ve collected over the years. It isn't a very modern setup, we still use a lot of paper and keep physical files instead of doing everything on a screen. There’s a small area where people can sit and wait if we are busy, though it’s just a couple of simple chairs. We don't try to impress anyone with fancy decorations or expensive furniture. We just put in the hours and deal with whatever comes across our desks. Usually, the day starts with a cup of tea and a look at the schedule. The air can get a bit dusty with all the old papers around, but it doesn't bother us much anymore. We’ve been working from this spot for quite a while and it suits the way we do things. It is just a regular place for regular work, and we like it that way.
