Shubham Neon Sign

Our shop, number 226, is located in Pallav Puram Phase 2, right on Roorkee Road. We are quite close to the police chowki, so it’s a very easy spot to point out if someone is trying to find us for the first time. We work on neon signs, which is a bit of an old-school craft that we’ve stuck with through the years. The shop is often filled with the sound of glass being heated and bent over a flame. It’s a bit hot in there during the summer months, but we are used to the heat of the torches and the smell of the gas. Roorkee Road always has trucks and cars zooming by, so it never gets truly quiet around here. We aren't a big operation, just a few people who know how to handle gas tubes and electrodes. Sometimes a tube breaks while we are working on a tricky letter, and we have to start the whole thing over again from scratch. It can be frustrating, but that is just part of the job. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything like that; we just rely on people seeing our work around town and coming to find us. It’s an honest way to earn a living, and we take pride in seeing our signs lighting up the night sky. The shop might look a bit cluttered to an outsider, but we know exactly where every tool and piece of glass is. We just keep our heads down and work hard on every single order.
