A.M. Fabrication

We’ve got A.M. Fabrication set up in Punchsheel Colony, right on Street No. 9 off Garh Road in the Dist .. It’s a local workshop where we do mostly metal work. You’ll hear the welding and the grinding from down the street before you even see the sign. The floor is concrete and usually has metal shavings everywhere, so we always tell people to wear thick shoes. We work with iron, steel, and whatever else comes through the door. It’s hot work, especially in the summers, but we’re used to it by now. The shop is basically a big garage space where we can move large pieces around. We don't have a website or a fancy catalog; people just tell us what they need, maybe show a rough drawing, and we figure out how to build it. Sometimes the materials take a few days to arrive from the suppliers, which slows us down. We’ve been in this spot for a while, and the neighbors are used to the noise. It’s just me and a couple of guys who know how to handle a torch. We don't spend money on fancy uniforms or anything like that. We just focus on getting the joints strong and the measurements right. It’s honest work that leaves your hands dirty at the end of the day. We usually close up when the sun goes down and start again early the next morning when the air is still cool.
