Shree Ganesh Confectionery

Shree Ganesh Confectionery is tucked away on Street No. 3 in Adarsh Nagar, Sardhana. If you know where the Vodafone office is, then you are basically right there. We have been here for a while and the neighborhood knows us pretty well. It is a small shop but it is always got something going on. You can usually smell whatever we have got on the shelves from the street. We get a lot of kids coming in after school looking for snacks, and that is usually the loudest part of our day. Sardhana is a busy place and Adarsh Nagar is right in the middle of it. We spend a lot of time just keeping the glass jars clean and making sure everything is where it should be. It is not a fancy place with air conditioning and velvet ropes. It is just a local confectionery where people stop by on their way home. Sometimes we run out of things faster than we expected, and we have to tell people to come back tomorrow. It is a bit of a scramble sometimes, especially around festival times when everyone wants something sweet. We have got a small bench outside where people sometimes sit and talk for a bit. It is a nice community feeling. We are just regular people running a shop, nothing more to it. We do not have a website or anything; we just open the shutters every morning and see who comes through the door.
