Shardein School

Shardein School is located right on Meerut Road. If you are standing at our front gate, you can see the Company Garden just across the way. It’s a nice view to have, especially in the mornings when the trees are green. The road out front is almost always busy with cars and trucks heading into town. Our building is a solid structure that has been here for a while. It’s got that lived-in feel, with marks on the floors and posters on the walls. We don’t have a lot of bells and whistles. The classrooms are filled with wooden desks and the smell of chalk. Our staff members are mostly from this part of town and they’ve been with us for years. We start the day early, and by the time the sun is high, the whole place is buzzing with students. Sometimes the fans in the rooms are a bit noisy, but we are used to it. We don’t really go for all that modern corporate branding stuff. We just try to keep the place clean and make sure the kids have what they need for their lessons. After school, the parents gather near the gate and there’s a lot of chatting. It’s a very local atmosphere. We just do our work and go home, much like everyone else on Meerut Road. It’s a plain, honest school for the people living nearby.
