Modern Agro Kendra

Modern Agro Kendra is located on Sharda Road, very close to Kanohar Lal Girls College. Because of the college being so near, there are always groups of students walking past our door and plenty of rickshaws waiting for fares. It makes for a lively atmosphere throughout the day. Our shop is quite narrow, but it goes back a long way. We have bags and containers stacked almost to the ceiling in the back. The front area is where we meet our customers, usually farmers or local gardeners who need supplies. There’s a wooden counter that has been worn smooth over the years from people leaning on it. We don't have any bright neon signs or fancy displays. Everything is laid out so people can see what they are getting. The floor is often covered in a bit of grit or spilled seed, but we sweep it up at the end of every day. We don’t follow a strict corporate dress code; we just wear what’s comfortable for moving heavy sacks around. Our staff knows a lot about the local soil and what grows best in this climate, so conversations can go on for quite a while. We aren't in a hurry to push people out. It’s a friendly, local spot where the community feels at home. Sharda Road is a good place to be, even with all the noise and the crowds.
