Saint Joseph Inter College

Saint Joseph Inter College sits at 96 Church Street in Meerut Cantt. It’s an old part of the city, so there’s a lot of history in the walls and the surrounding area. Being in the Cantt means things are a little more orderly outside, but once the school bell rings, it’s as loud as anywhere else. We have kids of all ages running around the grounds from the early morning until the afternoon. The building is one of those traditional structures you see in Meerut, nothing too modern, just solid brick and mortar that has seen many batches of students come and go. Teachers are usually busy carrying stacks of notebooks or trying to get the kids to settle down in the hallways. It’s a normal school life really, with exams, sports days, and the occasional rainy day when everyone gets a bit restless. We don’t really do big speeches or anything like that. Most of our time is just spent making sure the classrooms are ready and the kids are actually studying. Living and working in Meerut, you get used to the pace here. Church Street is a nice spot, a bit quieter than the main markets, but still very much part of the local community. Parents come by to check on progress or pay fees, and we just chat with them like neighbors. It’s just a regular place where learning happens in its own time without too much fuss or unnecessary complications.
