Being on Delhi Road means there is always some noise from the traffic outside, but you get used to it after a week or two. Rana Math Classes is right near the State Bank, so it’s easy for the students to find us. I usually spend my mornings getting the notes ready and making sure there’s enough chalk or markers for the day. The room isn't huge, but we managed to fit enough desks for everyone. I remember when we first moved into this spot in Meerut, it took a while to get the lighting right. Now, it’s just a routine. The bank helps people find the turn-off. We have students coming in from different parts of the city, some on cycles and some walking. It’s mostly just sitting down and working through sums for hours. When the power goes out, we just open the door to get some light from the street. It’s a very straightforward place. No big signs or anything, just the name on the door. I like the area because everything is close by. If I need a tea break, there are plenty of spots around. It’s just me and the students most days, figuring out the problems on the board. Sometimes the ink on the markers runs out at the worst time, but we keep extras in the drawer. It’s a busy life here on the main road, but we stay focused on the numbers.
