Raju Band Co.

We are based at Plot No-198-D in Jawahar Market, which is in the Jali Kothi area. If you come by our place, you will likely hear some music or at least some drumming. We are a band company, so we have instruments all over the place. Trumpets, drums, and uniforms are tucked into every corner of the shop. During the wedding season, things get very busy and we are hardly ever in the shop because we are out at events. When we are here, we are usually polishing the brass or fixing a strap on a drum. The market is always loud and crowded, so there is a lot of energy around us. We have been here for a long time and have seen many other shops come and go. Our office is just a small desk where we keep the calendar to track our bookings. It is all written down by hand in a big notebook. We do not really do the whole internet thing; people just know where to find us when they have a celebration coming up. Sometimes we have rehearsals in the back, which the neighbors probably either love or hate. We try to keep the uniforms looking sharp, so there is always a lot of ironing going on too. It is a lot of work to keep a band going, but we enjoy being part of people's big days.
