New Jai Bharat Musical

New Jai Bharat Musical is tucked away at No. 310 in Brahmpuri, Madhavpuram Sector 4. We are quite close to Saraswati Lok. Our place is full of instruments. You can usually hear someone trying out a harmonium or tuning a dholak when you walk in. It’s not a silent office. There’s the smell of wood and polish everywhere. We don't have a big fancy showroom. It’s more like a workshop where things are kept and worked on. Boxes are stacked up in the corners and there’s barely enough room to walk sometimes. We’ve been here in Sector 4 for a long time. The neighbors know us by the sounds coming from the shop. We spend our days checking the quality of the strings and the skins on the drums. It’s hands-on work. We don't use much technology here, just our ears and hands. If someone comes in looking for something specific, we usually have to dig it out from the back. It’s a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. We aren't trying to be a big chain store. We are just New Jai Bharat Musical. People from around Saraswati Lok come by when they need a repair or a new instrument. It’s a humble business. We enjoy the music and the people who come to visit. Sometimes we sit outside on the steps when it's quiet. It's a nice way to spend the afternoon in Brahmpuri.
