Major Ashram Smarak Inter College

Our college is tucked away in the Meerut Cantt area, which is a fairly quiet part of town compared to the main markets. Being in 250001, we’ve seen the city change quite a bit over the years. The school is named Major Ashram Smarak, and it’s mostly about the daily grind of teaching kids. We have high school students running around the hallways, always in a hurry to get to their next class. The classrooms are basic—just desks, blackboards, and some old maps hanging on the walls. We don’t have a big PR department or anyone to write fancy slogans. It’s just the teachers showing up every day to do their bit. During the winter months, the sun on the playground is the best spot to be during the lunch break. We have a lot of history here, but we don't really make a big deal out of it. It’s just a place where parents send their children hoping they’ll learn enough to get through life. Sometimes the bell rings a bit late, or a window might need fixing, but we manage with what we have. You’ll find us near the canteen or the main office most of the time. It’s a local school for local families. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. It's just a regular inter college in Meerut where people work hard and try to stay on track with the government curriculum. Everyone just does their job.
