Kundan Art Jewellery Creation

We are located at 67/1 Harinagar, tucked inside Wamno Wali Gali. It is a narrow lane, the kind where you have to step aside if someone else is walking the other way. At Kundan Art Jewellery Creation, the space is filled with the sounds of small tools and the sight of very tiny pieces. Jewellery work requires a lot of patience and good eyesight, so we spend most of the day hunched over our workbenches with bright lamps. Harinagar is a crowded area, and our gali is no different. You can hear the neighbors cooking and the sounds of motorbikes trying to navigate the tight turns. It’s a very intimate way to work. We don't have a showroom with glass cases and security guards. It’s more of a workshop where the actual creation happens. There is dust from the metals and the smell of various polishing agents. We keep our supplies in small tins and wooden drawers. It’s an old way of doing things, but it works for us. The address 67/1 has been our base for a long time. People find us by word of mouth or by asking around the gali. We don't have a big sign outside. We just focus on the pieces we are making. It’s quiet work in a noisy neighborhood. Sometimes we sit out in the gali for a break just to stretch our legs and get some air.
