Kansal Confectionary

Our place is in Meerut Cantt, right at 382 Sadar Tilak Park. We are quite close to the Sai Baba Mandir, so we see a lot of people coming through, especially on those busy temple days. Being a confectionary, we have a lot of sweets, chocolates, and the kind of stuff kids go crazy for. We also keep some bakery items like bread and cookies. The shop is a bit old-fashioned. We have glass jars filled with colorful candies on the counter and stacks of biscuit boxes along the walls. Meerut can get very hot, so we try to keep the fridge running for cold drinks, though sometimes the electricity has other plans. It’s a family-run operation. We don’t have a manager or anything, just us doing the stocking and the cleaning. The park nearby means there’s often noise from children playing, which is nice. We spend a lot of time just chatting with the neighbors who stop by for a quick snack. The shop isn't perfectly organized, and you might have to wait a minute if we’re in the back fetching something. But it’s a friendly spot. We like the pace of life here in the Cantt area. It’s slower than the main city market. We just focus on keeping the favorites in stock and making sure the jars are never completely empty for the little ones who visit us after school.
