Jai Shree College

Our college is tucked away in Village Amar Pur, near the Hasan Pur Kala post office. If you are driving on Garh Road in Meerut, you have to look for the turn-off. It is a quiet area compared to the main city. We have a mix of students from the village and the surrounding parts of Hasanpur Kalan. The building sits on a decent piece of land. There is usually some grass growing where it shouldn't, but we try to keep it tidy. Inside Jai Shree College, the rooms are simple. We don't have air conditioning or fancy lounge areas. It is mostly just rows of desks and the sound of chalk on boards. Some days are busier than others, especially when there is a function or an exam starting. The staff here knows most of the families around. We talk to the parents when they come by to check on things. It’s a practical place. We focus on getting through the syllabus and making sure the students have what they need to pass their tests. Sometimes the internet is slow, and we have to wait to get the computer work done. We are just a local college trying to do our job in this part of Meerut. It’s nothing fancy, but it serves the people who live around here well enough. We see the sun set over the fields every evening before we lock up. There is a small shop nearby where students buy their pens and snacks, and it’s always crowded at lunchtime.
