Our family has been working out of House No108/7 in Anaj Mandi for a long time now. Being near Baghpat Gate means there is always a lot of noise and traffic right outside our front door. It’s a busy part of town, and the grain market never really seems to sleep. My father started things here, and now my brothers and I take care of the daily tasks. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning or anything like that. We just have our desks and the ledgers where we keep track of everything. The walls are a bit dusty from the market, but that’s just part of the job when you work in an area like this. We know almost everyone on this street. In the mornings, we usually stand out front and have a quick tea with the neighbors before the trucks start arriving. It can get pretty chaotic with the loading and unloading, but we’ve got a system that works for us. We don't spend money on marketing or brochures. People in the mandi know who we are and what we do. It’s a simple way of living and working. We focus on getting the orders right and making sure our regulars are looked after. Sometimes the internet is slow or the power cuts out, so we go back to doing things on paper. It’s honest work that keeps us busy from dawn until the market finally slows down in the evening.
