G. S. Agro Export House

We are situated at 139/3 Anand Puri on Railway Road. Being so close to the railway means we hear the trains go by all the time. It is a loud place to work but it makes sense for an export house because we are right where the action is. We deal with a lot of agricultural products like grains and seeds. The warehouse is big and it smells like dry earth and burlap sacks. We spend most of our time weighing things out and getting them into the right containers for shipping. It is a lot of heavy lifting and shifting bags from one pile to another. The office is just a small corner with a desk that is covered in papers and ledgers. We do not have any fancy computers doing the work for us; it is mostly just us keeping track of everything by hand. The sun hits the front of the building in the afternoon and it gets really hot inside. We usually leave the big doors open to catch whatever breeze we can get from the street. There are always people stopping by to ask about prices or to see if a shipment has arrived yet. It is a busy life but it is what we do. We try to keep the place organized but with so many bags moving through it is always a bit of a mess by the end of the day.
