Devine Wholesale Mart

We are located at 77, Kila Road in Meerut. Being right across from Sorvadhya Hospital means there is always noise outside. New Prabhat Nagar is where we spend most of our daylight hours. Devine Wholesale Mart is just a place with a lot of stuff piled up. We open the heavy metal shutter every morning and it makes a loud scraping sound. The dust from Kila Road comes inside no matter how much we sweep the floor. We have stacks of boxes everywhere because it is a wholesale setup. Sometimes it’s hard to walk through the aisles when a new shipment arrives. We don’t have fancy displays or bright lights. It’s just rows of items that people need. We spend time checking lists and making sure the counts are right. The building is old and the 250001 area code is home to us. You can see the hospital entrance from our front door. Some days are slow and we just sit on the stools talking about the weather. Other days are a mess with everyone wanting things at once. We don't use a computer for everything, sometimes it’s just pen and paper. My back hurts from moving the heavier crates around. It’s a simple life running a mart in this part of town. We’ve been here at this address for a while now. It feels like the walls have soaked up the smell of everything we sell.
