We are located at No.197/1 in the Belaki Das Building, right by Begum Bridge. It is a very old building, which gives it a bit of character, even if the stairs are a little narrow. Being near the bridge means there is always a lot of activity outside. We spend our time trading here, dealing with whatever goods are in demand at the moment. The office is a bit cramped because we use most of the space for storage. We aren't trying to impress anyone with the decor. It’s just a place to do business. We’ve got a few desks pushed together and a lot of ledgers and papers. Sometimes it feels like we are drowning in paperwork, but we manage to stay on top of it. Most of our day is spent on the phone or talking to people who drop by the building. We don't have any fancy brochures or a sales team. It’s just us. We’ve stayed in this location because it’s a landmark and easy for people to find once they get to Begum Bridge. It gets quite loud with the traffic, but we’ve grown used to it. We just focus on getting the orders right and making sure the supplies are moving like they should. It is just a regular trading business, run by people who live nearby. We usually lock up around six in the evening once the last of the delivery trucks has left for the day.
