Design Engineer

My name is Pradeep Kumar and I’m the design engineer working out of Rardhana village in Meerut. My place is right near the bus stand, so it's easy to spot if you’re coming from the main road. I live and work here in the same village where my father, Shri Bhabuley Singh, is known. It’s a simple setup. I don't have a big team or a glass building. It’s just me and my tools and the work that needs to be done for people in the district. Living in Meerut, you get used to the pace of life here. Being near the bus stand means there's always something going on outside. Sometimes it’s noisy with the buses honking, but it’s home. I handle engineering designs for whoever needs them. It’s practical work. I spend a lot of time at my desk. People usually just walk in because they know where I am. I don’t use any complicated systems for talking to folks. You just come by and we talk about the job. Rardhana is a small place, so everyone knows everyone anyway. I’ve been doing this for a while and I don't plan on moving. It’s good to be close to the family and the community. I just try to do an honest job every day. No fancy talk, just the work. That’s how things go around here. The power goes out sometimes, but I have a backup to keep things moving. I usually finish my day when the sun goes down and the street gets quiet.
