We set up our little shop in New Sarvodya Nagar at number 139. The area seemed like a good spot for a tea place since there are a lot of people moving around throughout the day. Most of our mornings are spent just getting the stove going and checking that the milk delivery came in on time. Meerut can get quite cold when winter hits, so tea becomes a really big deal for everyone then. We are not trying to be one of those expensive cafes you see in the big malls. Our place is more for just sitting down for a few minutes to take a break. We have some basic chairs and tables, but nothing too fancy or modern. Sometimes the regulars come in and stay a while to talk, and we don't mind that at all. It is just us running the daily operations here. The shop stays open until the sun goes down usually. We deal with the typical stuff like the power cutting out or a supply truck being late. It is just part of the job when you run a small business in this city. People ask why we chose this specific location, and honestly, it was just open and it fit our budget at the time. We keep the kettle boiling and try to keep the place tidy, even when it gets a bit messy during the afternoon rush hours. It is simple work but it keeps us busy.
