Costa Coffee

Our place is at 66/D in Prahlad Nagar, here in Meerut. It’s a Costa Coffee, but it feels like a regular part of the neighborhood to us. We spend most of our time behind the counter or checking on the tables to make sure things aren't too messy. The morning shift is usually the busiest when people are heading to work or just waking up. We have the usual machines making noise and the smell of coffee is everywhere, which you get used to after a few days. The space isn't huge, but it has enough room for people to sit for a while. Sometimes the air conditioning struggles when it’s really hot outside in Meerut, but we try to keep it comfortable. We’ve got a small team here, and most of us live nearby, so we walk or take a rickshaw to get to work. It’s not a very complicated setup. We just make the drinks, clear the cups, and talk to the regulars who come in every day. The street outside Prahlad Nagar can get quite lively in the evenings. We stay open late enough to catch the after-work crowd. There’s no big secret to how we run things; we just show up, do the work, and go home. It’s a straightforward job in a nice part of town, and we like being part of the daily routine for people around here. We just keep our heads down and try to keep the place looking decent for the customers.
