Ankur Confectioners

At Ankur Confectioners, we are located at 1389, Sector 3, in the Shastri Nagar area of Meerut. Our shop is part of the Shivaji Market. Being in a market means there’s always something happening around us. We mainly deal with sweets, snacks, and other treats that people like to take home. It’s a family-run thing, and we’ve been here in Shivaji Market for quite some time. The shop isn't huge, but we fill the glass cases with as much as we can every morning. We don't use any fancy machines to track everything; we just keep a manual log and know our stock by heart. The floor is a bit worn out from all the people walking in, but that just shows we’ve been around a while. Some of our customers have been coming since they were kids, and now they bring their own children. It’s nice to see that. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything like that. We just focus on getting fresh stuff in and making sure people get what they asked for. It gets really busy during festival times, and we all have to work extra hours to keep up. It’s a lot of work, but we like being a part of the daily life here in Meerut. Most days we are just cleaning the jars or chatting with the neighbors while we wait for customers to come by. It's a simple, busy life.
