I am Alok Agrawal and you can find my place at 293/7 in Thapar Nagar here in Meerut. I have been operating from this location for quite some time now and I’ve become a familiar face in the neighborhood. Thapar Nagar is a decent area to work in because it’s central enough that people can get to me without too much trouble, but it still has a local feel to it. My office setup is quite modest and I mostly take care of everything myself. I don’t have a team of people or a secretary answering the phones. When you call or come by, you’re talking directly to me. I think people like that because there’s no confusion and they get their answers straight away. My daily routine involves a lot of reading and making sure all the details are correct on the documents I handle. It’s not the kind of work that makes for exciting stories, but it’s important to the people who come to me. I don’t spend any money on fancy ads or brochures. Most of my clients are just people who live nearby or heard about me from a neighbor. The office is just a simple room with the necessary furniture and my books. Sometimes it gets a bit messy when I have several projects going on at once, but I know where everything is. I try to stay honest about what I can do and how long it will take.
