We have been running Abs Cement Pvt. Ltd. right here at 58, The Mall for quite a long time now. Most people know the spot because it is usually busy with trucks coming and going at odd hours. Cement is heavy work, and our days are mostly filled with checking stock and making sure the bags get moved to where they need to go. It isn't a fancy office. We have desks covered in papers and probably a bit of dust because that is just how it is when you deal with building materials all day. The phone rings a lot with people asking about prices or when the next delivery is arriving. Some days it feels like we are just managing a big puzzle of logistics. We know the regulars by their first names, and they know where to find us. Usually, someone is sitting in the back having tea while waiting for their order to be loaded up. It is a straightforward business. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles here. Just a team of people who show up every morning, open the shutters, and get to work. Dealing with cement means your clothes get dirty, and the air is always a bit dry, but we are used to it by now. The Mall is a good location for us because it is central, though traffic can be a pain sometimes. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily grind as it comes.
