Akshay Agritech is located right in the middle of the chaos at Sri Krupa Market in Malakpet. We are on the ground floor at Plot No:138. If you’ve ever been to Malakpet, you know how busy it gets with all the traders and the trucks moving through. Our spot is right in the thick of it. The ground floor location is good because we don't have to carry heavy bags or equipment up any stairs, but it also means we get a lot of dust and noise from the market street. There is always someone shouting about prices or a horn blowing outside the door. Inside, our space is packed with samples and ledgers. We don’t have much room for a lobby, so if a few people come in at once, it gets a bit tight. The floor is concrete and we’ve given up on keeping it perfectly clean since people are always walking in with mud or dirt on their boots. We drink a lot of chai from the stall around the corner to keep us going through the afternoon slump. It’s a very traditional way of doing business. We talk to people face to face and handle most of our paperwork by hand. It’s not a polished corporate office by any means. It’s a working market stall that grew into something a bit bigger. We just stick to our routine and get the day's work done.
