Porumalla Mango Farmers Producer Companylimited

We are located at Hno 4-73 in Medipally. Our group is called the Porumalla Mango Farmers Producer Companylimited. It started because a few of us farmers in the Medipally area realized we were facing the same problems every year. We decided to put our names together and work as one company. Most of us have been farming these lands since we were kids. We know the dirt and we know which trees produce the best fruit. Our office at house 4-73 is a busy place during the picking season. There are always people coming and going, checking on the weight of the fruit or talking about where the trucks are. We don’t have a fancy setup. It’s just a room with some chairs and a desk where we keep our books. We do the work ourselves, from pruning the branches to loading the crates. It’s hard on the back, but it’s what we do. We aren't looking to become some huge international brand. We just want to make sure our families are taken care of and our mangoes find a good market. Being a producer company lets us help each other out with things like fertilizer and transport costs. It’s a very local, hands-on way of doing things. We are just a bunch of neighbors working together to keep the farms running and the mangoes growing year after year. It's simple work but it's ours.
