We are based out of Sai Lakshmi Apartments on Gopuram Road. It is Flat 3/2034, care of P Lakshmi. It is a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes because it’s an apartment, but we make it work for our food and beverage business. Living and working in the same general area means we are always around if something needs fixing or if a delivery comes late. Gopuram Road has a lot of traffic during the day, so we hear the horns and the motorbikes going by all the time. Our focus is usually on the practical side of things, like checking ingredients and talking to the people who supply us. We don't have a fancy lobby or a big sign outside. It is just a home-based setup where we put in the hours. Sometimes the kitchen area gets a bit crowded when we are testing out new things. We try to keep everything clean and orderly, but when you’re busy, things get messy fast. It’s a lot of trial and error with the recipes and the packaging. We aren't experts at everything, but we learn as we go along. Most of the neighbors know us by now. It’s a simple operation, really. No big corporate meetings, just us sitting around the table making decisions. We like the independence of it, even if the hours are long and the work is constant. There's always something to do around here.
