Buddapuram Farmers Producer Companylimited is based out of the Housing Board area, specifically at H.No.18-317/8 in Aphb Colony. We are a group of local farmers who decided to team up. Living in the colony and working the fields nearby means we see each other all the time anyway. It made sense to form this company so we could buy things like fertilizer or seeds in bigger batches. It saves us a bit of money and a lot of headaches. None of us are big city businessmen. We’re just people who know the soil and the seasons. Our office at 18-317/8 is usually where we meet up to discuss what to plant next or how to deal with a bad dry spell. It’s pretty informal. You might see us sitting on the porch talking for hours. We try to help out the smaller farmers in the area who might struggle on their own. It’s about sticking together when things get tough. We don't have any fancy brochures or big signs. Just the name on the door and the work we do every day. Sometimes it’s hard work and the sun is hot, but having the group makes it feel like we’re getting somewhere. We’re just part of the local scene here in Buddapuram, doing what we’ve always done.
