The apartment complex is usually quiet during the day which helps. We started this because we wanted to do things our own way without a boss breathing down our necks every five minutes. The commute isn't too bad if you leave early enough. Inside the office, it is just a few desks and some old chairs we probably should replace soon. There is a small kitchen area where we make coffee that tastes okay. We don't have a giant sign outside or anything like that. People usually find us by looking for the block letter. Most of the time, we are just sitting at our screens. It gets a bit warm in the afternoons so we keep the fans going. Sometimes we order food from the place down the road. It’s a simple setup for a small team like ours. We don't have meetings about having meetings. We just talk across the room when something needs to get finished. The view from the sixth floor is alright, you can see quite a bit of the neighborhood. It feels like a regular home that we turned into a workspace. We like it that way because it's comfortable and nobody bothers us much. We keep our files organized as best as we can in the corner cabinets. That's about it for our little spot.
