Tekmal Pochamma

My name is Pochamma and my family name is Tekmal. I live and work at Hno 1-58 in Nagulapalle village. This is located in the Alla Dugr mandal. It’s a very quiet village, and my house is just like any other one on the street. I don’t have a big office or a staff of people. It’s just me here at my small wooden table. I’ve lived in Nagulapalle for many years, so I know everyone and they know me. My work is mostly about managing local things and keeping track of what’s happening in our area. I keep all my notes in a thick diary because I don’t really trust computers much. Sometimes the rain leaks through the roof in the corner of the room, so I have to move my papers around to keep them dry. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s what I know. During the day, I might be busy with work for a few hours, then I’ll go out to check on the garden or talk to the neighbors over the wall. I don't really have set hours. People just come to the door when they need something, and I do what I can to help out. The village is small enough that you can hear the temple bells from my front door. It’s just a normal, everyday setup where I get my tasks done between the usual chores of running a household in the mandal.
